Single Tank Systems

Application

Single tank Hellenbrand water softeners are used where water consumption is constant on a day-to-day basis, or when peak demand days are predictable on the same day(s) each week. Single systems must be designed to meet a minimum of one-days maximum capacity demand and peak gallon per minute (gpm) flow rate required.

Regeneration Options

• Time Clock - 7 or 12 day timers initiate regeneration automatically, with regeneration usually taking place at 2:00 a.m. or another off peak time.
  
• Delayed Meter (Volume) Start - metered/volume regenerations are used where water usage is not easily predicted. Regeneration usually takes place at 2:00 a.m. or another off peak time. A minimum of 1-day operating capacity reserve is required.
  
• Immediate Meter (Volume) Start - after a predetermined volume has been used, the system automatically goes into regeneration.

Microprocessor Volume Controlled

The microprocessor determines the daily reserve requirements based upon the previous operating history for the application. As your demand increases or decreases, the microprocessor adjusts the daily reserve requirements accordingly. Regeneration takes place at an off peak water usage time.
